I bought this coin on ebay today for $90, and I am looking for opinions on its grade and whether or not it was a good purchase. I do not have it in hand yet so that is why I am posting the ebay link. Thanks!

I'll say VF to low EF. I'd say you got a good deal on it.

I'm wary of the S being off center like that. And I always ask - How does a key coin like that sell for only $90 in that nice of a condition.

Here is comparing the date....... (Could the 2 have taken a hit?)(The 1 looks a bit off?)

OP coin vs Genuine example......

Couldn't do much with the mintmark pictures - they were just too small to maintain the detail.

But you can also compare the letters under the mintmark also........

Suspicious. Show some clear photos when you have it in hand.

Eager to see full, large and sharp pics when the coin is in-hand. Reserving opinion for now.

QUARTER DOLLAR lettering looks funky. post as sharp photos as you can of the MM, date and denomination. I have reservations on this one as its a high XF and even possible AU50 coin. an XF40 is a $150 coin at AU50 close to $200. just doesn't sound right. hopefully you have return privileges

This one is questionable as to authenticity. Too many fakes coming out of China right now.
