Exonumia is a very interesting and serious topic in numismatics. The best example is this: Pelee Island

BCTokens says: Quote: From the catalogue by Hill: The Texada listing: Hello! Can you tell me if this catalog is freely available for download or in online libraries? I'd like to know what other islands are listed in this catalog? What other tokens besides these are shown for and around Texada Island, Salt Spring, Gabriola, and Lasqueti? Are there tokens for the Queen Charlotte Islands, for example?

This one features several Canadian islands: Bell island, Fogo island, Change islands, and Newfoundland island:

A series of trade tokens for another island in British Columbia recently appeared. Perhaps they're not yet in the catalogs, or are they already available? Hornby Island, BC trade 20 dollars 2018 - 2019 - 2020 What do you think about this? Where else on the islands have you seen similar things?

jbuck Thank you! However, it seems my research is only of interest to me and you. )) Perhaps I'm collecting coins incorrectly and am the wrong numismatist...)
