Thank you all for the supportive and kind comments. Your wonderful words of support are truly uplifting.

How many pieces will you display at the show?

A good question for me to explain a bit more about the hand made work I'll have to sell.

My boxes fall into two general categories -

One-of-a-kind pieces that are unique and generally not ever repeated. Those are 4 of the 5 images you can see on my PMA page.

These boxes sell from $700 to over $2500.

Then I make 'limited edition' boxes that share the same design. Each piece is still individually hand made, but there are some efficiencies in making say 5 at a time.

A selection of limited edition boxes have been the prizes in my 10K and 15K contests.

These are less expensive due to less time to make them.

Burton has a lovely 'limited edition' box from my 10K contest. Pleased that it is serving you well!

This is an image of what my professional show booth looks like at an upscale indoor show:

The one-of-a-kind boxes are displayed on pedestals, and the limited edition work is shown on shelves.

I have enough built boxes right now to attend the Philly show. Would like to build more. That all depends on my right elbow recovery - and It's slowly getting stronger every day.

Many thanks friends for the kind comments.

Very nice! I've been doing woodworking (furniture, boxes, frames, etc) and metalworking (jewelry, knives, automations, etc) for over 50 years, so I can appreciate the level of work and care that went into these beauties.

It should Keith, you have its brother at home.

The booth photo shown above is actually from 2005 when I was exhibiting at Craft Boston. It's time for a new and updated display photo.

I'll grab one in Philly.

Well done Nickelsearcher. Absolutely amazing.i have to ask if you have a favorite wood that you like more than others.and would it because it's easier to work with or the way it looks when it's a finished product.
