Coin Toning Experiment Two Coins Same Cabinet

Below are the before pictures of two coins that have been put into an antique cabinet that is outgassing. The drawers are made up of original fronts but rebuilt, using plywood from who knows when. I've placed these two coins into a single drawer together and I'll check them weekly to see if any toning has taken place.

They were placed into the cabinet on June 20th at 8:15 a.m. Central time. Let the experiment begin!

Monthly is probably a better option, as toning is slow. Also, you'll be clearing out the "bad air" every time you open it.
Also, you should prop up the coins in the corner, as @fortcollins described in your other topic.
