The premiums on fractional silver are always outrageous, of course, but at the time, spot was a third of present spot. They're neat. But circulated 90% coinage has always been a better choice for purely stacking fractional silver. Plus, if buying in mass, there's the likelihood of finding a few specimens that are actually worth attention. I don't regret my Centalike purchase. They're interesting. As you know, the sellers and dealers have to make money too, so they'll have to sell it at a premium above silver melt. Maybe I can buy a little bit of both.
