See the spike above "YE" of the YEAR and also a similar spike exactly opposite to it at the other end of the coin to the right side of the number 1. What type of error is this?

@fod, your picture is a little hard to interpret, but it seems like these are Cuds as they involve the rim. With that said, most (or maybe all?) of the Cuds I've seen lack these sharp spikes that your coin seem to exhibit. I'll be interested to see what others think.
