Bought this about 5 years ago to add to my LWC collection. It is in about XF condition, with a pretty decent strike. Upon a further look as I am inventorying everything, it sort of looks like a matte proof. I highly doubt it is, but any thoughts?

Not even close to an MPL. 1909 was the first year for the Lincoln Cent, they are all very well struck and many look similar to a proof - but they are not.

Have you weighed it? Looks like a thick planchet.

Ok, thanks for the info. I figured strikes were usually good in the first year but just wanted to double check
