Bought these this week. Shipped USPS. May be in my frothy hands, tomorrow. Nice enough coins, hoping one is a PEGGER. Anyway it will fill a slot or two, if I ever get around to a Dansco.

The seller did NOT advertiser them as PEGGERs. I've started to bidding on coins, I believe are PEGGERs. The price I am willing to bid, is on condition, Silver (or not).

This is a run of 1971s, 1972s, 1973s, and 1974s.

From this lousy picture, guess the pegger, if any?

Nice selection! The 71-S is a pegger, but, 40% are, so, no premium..the 72-S is a Design Pegger, and, is "normal"...73-S PF & 74-S PF peggers very rare..there's usually a little serif somewhere, which knocks them out of contention...Worth hunting for...I sell mine to an Ike group member for 100 each, when I find em...maybe, 1 in 1,000 coins though...
Happy New Year fellow IKESTERS, and, Happy Hunting!

If I understand it the 1973 S and 1974 S peggers are the ESKIMO BOOT(s). They are a little tricky in nature. At least to me. Known to be a little (only) rounded at the bottom, and mostly no serifs. If you have one, (raw) it is in the eye of the owner. If you are selling said coin, it also is in the eye of all the bidders. I guess.

I may up-date this page with a ESKIMO BOOT, if I can find one.

The nEW LAW for DIVA an Eskimo Boot(Ikegroup.info IKE Attribution) is the FOOT of the arm must be narrower than where it hits the bar...99% of the 73's & 74-S's have enough of a miniscule serif to NOT qualify it...good pics in the Ike Book, better pics in the Limited Edition Book, "Mud Room" chapter, where Rob E. highlighted my 1974-S and put it in the book.

Oh no ~~~~~

Some one just up and changed the RULES

I've never been up to par yet, ~~~ now I have to go back to school

Where do I go to get a refund, on all my work-study-devotion to IKEs?

Forchant that I have never bid, (and won) anything I might have thought to be a PEGLEG

Now that the jig is up ~~~ what do you think will happen to the out of date TPGers IKE peggers. Maybe the market will just adjust to the new definitions?

Here's a picture of the 74-S Eskimo Boot Peg Leg, Domain. I wasn't sure if you had the Special Edition Ike book, which is where this image is from. I got the book some time last year, I think.

Much thanks, and sorry I was not quick to say so.

Only thing better than a 1973 IKE, is a 1973 ESKIMO BOOT. ~`~`~`
