Here is my latest Ike. 1973-S Silver PR-66 PCGS Rattler (S/B 7431) This one has the coin number 7430 for a Clad 73-S But it does look like a silver proof. I like the labeling errors on these and nobody seems to check the coin number on these slabs. Also if you check the serial number a PCGS it does come up with 7431. I guess the person that printed the label typed it in the computer wrong. But I really don't know how this happened.   Edited by RJP

I can't say that I've ever paid attention to the coin numbers before. Those early PCGS/NGC labels look so. . . . 70's.  I recently added yet another upgrade to my registry set: Silver 1971-S MS-66 with extraordinary golden toning. The deep, rich toning is even throughout both the obverse and reverse. The eye appeal is off the charts!  I will probably never upgrade to a 67 because I like this one so much AND because I'm not willing to spend the amount required for a 67. I couldn't be more pleased with this one.  |

THAT is one heckofaIKE Darth! Congrats..mines at PCGS getting graded as we speak..should be in hand late next week...my golden 71-S..won't be any higher than 63 or 64 at best though..found it in an original blue pak. Something went haywire with the cello pak, and created the golden hues, like yours. Golden Toned Silver coinage rocks.

I have never before seen golden toning to this extent on a silver business strike Ike. I HAD to have it. Being an upgrade coin made it all the more awesome. |

I received some Ikes in the mail the other day from davenders, which included 1971-P, 1971-D, and 1972-D. These are tough to find in "crisp" condition, but I can always count on Dave to deliver. Ok, here's mine eisenhower bicentennial dollar type 1. Nothing fancy, but cool. Thanks to my father I have about 800 ikes to look through, but he said the silver ones have been taken out. I am going to be busy for a while looking for all kinds of stuff. No telling what I'll find.   |
