Got $100 worth of machine wrapped rolls, have only gone through 4 of them but they are all uncirulated 2022 dimes. But what is interesting about all of them is I am able to sort them all based on the dies used to stamp them (I have found at least 5 die pairs so far). Except like one, every single one has at least a single die chip or crack on it that I can use to sort into small containers. I can see some progression with the cracks and chips.

Cool dime discoveries. Post a pic or two of your best finds. Thanks.

Here are some pictures, sorry about the sideways rotation on some of them, forgot to rotate them when I cropped them and resized them. There is a die chip in the oak leaves in the first image and some die cracks in Roosevelt's hair, looks like scratches in the picture. In the second picture there is a die chip by Roosevelt's mouth that looks like a wart or cold sore, and on the reverse there is a die chip at the base of the torch.

Wow... no posts in this thread in forever. I'm still searching dimes for silver and 2009s every couple of weeks...
So far in 2023, In 15,650 coins searched, I've found 5 silvers (1950, 1957-D, 1964, 2-1964-D), a 1985-S proof, 4 2009-Ps, 15 2009-Ds, and a 1990-P with a small clip at 2 o'clock.

Thanks, jbuck! I went through another 5,200 Dimes I bought this past Thursday over the weekend and found a single 2009-P and 3 2009-Ds... I also found one silver dime, a nice Slider Unc.1960 Philly - significant because it filled a hole in my CRH/Coinstar/Circ Finds folder! Before... ... and after! So now I'm only missing the 1950-S and the three 1955-dated coins - the latter, I think I will only find if I stumble upon some collection dump since they were hoarded en masse back in the day. Yesterday, I purchased another 2,000 Dimes and found 3 2009-Ds along with a 1953-D!

I went out and got more dimes last Thursday and again on Monday... Thursday, I went through 1,700 dimes and pulled a 1961-D! On Monday, I bought another 1,000 dimes... one roll was a tiny bit heavier (114.98 grams) than the rest... when I dumped it, this is what I saw: Yes, TWO silver dimes! And they turned out to be 1946 and 1947-D... I also found a 2009-P amongst them as well. Interestingly, no 2009-Ds either day, but I'm not complaining!

I grabbed another 500 dimes on 3/27 and found nothing... on 3/30, I grabbed 1,000 and found this nice little coin: Summary: 3 months into 2023, I've searched 32,300 dimes and found 12 silvers, 7 2009-Ps, 28 2009-Ds, and 1 proof.
