Today I received a 1998A $1 in change from a mexican restaurant.

It was printed in May 1993.

Old George has done his service and will be spending a nice quiet and well deserved retirement in my collection.

I work at a currency exchange in Canada and a customer brought these in to me today. Not in good condition but nice to find up here.

Guessing none of these carry a premium - will you exchange them for Canadian currency?

I never purchased them as I believed they don't really have a premium. So now they're just sitting in my till until I give them out to a customer on my next shift.

Got these from the bank today. The $50 has an ink transfer like the one that CitationSquirrel got on his. Ironically, they are the same year (1990). Would it be considered an error note? Other than the fold, it is in phenomenal shape almost uncirculated condition.

In sub-Saharan Africa, the older small-portrait US bills (other than the $1 and $2) are not generally accepted. I changed a 1993 $10 bill with a fellow traveler at the Zambian border for a more recent one as they were having difficulty using it to purchase their visa for Zimbabwe!

Nothing too exciting, but I found this a long time ago.

I thought I put it in a book to flatten it after I received it in change, but it was lost.

I found it again last night, tucked away in a box between some things.
