web notes refer to the printing process, they are still FRNs. One way to tell if your note is a web note - flip it over to the back and find the plate number. most are located below and to the right of the "E" in "ONE". If it is a web note, the plate number will be above the "E" to the right of "in god we trust"
Another way to tell is that there is no position number on the front of the note. That small letter/number combo is at the far left by the top district number. Here:
That D4 is the position this note was located in the original 32 note sheet. Since Web notes were printed from a roll of paper there was no need for this designation.
