I recently watched a person go through the process and noticed what I think is a new screen alerting the user to check the reject bin. I've only used CoinStar once myself and don't recall seeing that alert. Is this a new alert or am I just having another senior moment?

I've never used the machine but have read here that there is an alert.
Rest in Peace

I have used the machine a number of times and yes there is a screen telling you to check the reject bin.

I don't even use a coinstar machine. It's cheaper to cash in coins at the bank. Sometimes I check the slot to see if there are coins or not.

There is an alert, but it seems like there is still quite a few oblivious people around.
Today I got a 1953 shilling of the scottish variety, so I'm pleased.

It needed to be done a long time ago, so I will finally do it. I am going to lock this thread and ask everyone to use the more popular Coinstar thread in the Coin Roll Hunting forum.
