I have checked the two pages of headings, and there was one that was close to what I am asking. That was How to Grade Paper Banknotes. We in Canada are about to follow Australia's lead and change our banknotes to Polymer Banknotes. I am wondering if there was any changes on how one grades polymer banknotes compared to paper banknotes? Have a good day. Report this Post to the Staff

Polymer notes, while lasting a great deal longer than paper notes, will still crease and fold like paper with use. However you will be very hard pressed to find one that is torn or has a hole in it unless it has been deliberately done. Even then you will need something sharp to damage it.
