That makes me look smart. I say we call a mis - deal! Hey Mister? Could you deal a new coin? Maybe we should go by the honor system and not so much by ebay. What if we waited until the coin was off the ebay completed items. Maybe we should have a guessing deadline of at least 24 hours before the auctions end so that sandbagging on guesses of active auctions doesn't give late guessers an edge. I think maybe it would be more fun and all if there wasn't so much strategy or better odds of guessing from what we know now about getting closer guesses by playing the way this is being played by most lately. The short of it is that maybe we need some rules tweaking and a do over.

Yup, misfire. Zarboy, we need another. I see no problem using coins from current ebay auctions because we set the deadline at least an hour (or more) before the sale ends. Everyone knows that a lot can happen in the last few seconds of an auction, let alone the last hour. I do not like setting them 24 hours ahead because that is just more time waiting for the results. We already take a hit with me being incommunicado on the weekends. However, I am always open to suggestions and discussion. Whatever is decided will happen next season.

I can understand why you wanted to show us that rare 1893. That coin is sweet.
