people requested a coin comparision to this item so I am reposting with a new question ....i found out that it is a antique J.I. Case Fob yet all the searching I have yet to find one with the "safety" on the bottom ...any idea on the date this was made ? ...or value ...any info would be appreciated thanks

You may want to check out this item with watch fob collectors. Try this site for starters: http://www.watchfob.com/ I see that J.I. Case put out catalogues, and this item might be listed therein.

My guess is that this fob dates between 1910-40 or so. Its larger size, plus the enamelled SAFETY logo, suggests to me that it may have been intended to be carried by a worker who labored around large machinery; perhaps, a farmer? The eagle perched atop the earth is suggestive of post-WWI design.
