Does any one have any information or photo of a bank note from Schwenksville Pa. My father has lived there all his life and collects anything from Schwenksville Pa. He has told me that a relative worked at that bank and his signature could be on the notes. Before I moved out of Pa. a local coin dealer showed me one example, and I have seen none since. A search on the net didn't come up with anything yet. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Would your relative's last name be Schwenk? Heritage Auctions has sold three of them with this one being the most recent- http://currency.ha.com/c/item.zx?sa...&lotNo=13847

Thanks for the link biokemist6. That is the note that I have been doing some searching for on the net. My relatives name is not Schwenk. From what I know Schwenk is the name of the founder of the town long before there was a bank. I will keep searching for more examples. Thanks.

Another site to search would be Lynn Knight Currency Auctions.
