Help How Many Coins Are In Roughly 10kg?

If you are buying an entire lot of one type coin, find out what each coin weighs and do the math........otherwise, it's anyone's guess. The variation between the contents of large bags of coins can vary a lot. CitizenPatriot's comments are quite relevant. In the absence of better information, a 10kg bag may yield around 1,500 coins. At the very least, satisfy yourself that the weight is correct. You can bet your bottom dollar that there are no silver coins or very high grade older coins in the lot. Report this Post to the Staff

I bought a 10kg bag from a local dealer a couple of years ago; you can see my results in this old thread but the total number was 2173.
