Got a Buffalo ender a few days ago

I wonder how the common cents act will affect nickel hunting. I think nickels are typically considered pretty boring to most people but I wonder if a composition switch will renew interest?

The "Zinckels", like the Zincolns before them, will coexist with the more traditional composition for awhile and shouldn't affect hunting too much. I still found the occasional Indian or 1909 coin in 2000s, and for years to come, Buffalo and War Nickels should still surface. I'm afraid though that this stopgap period between composition change and retirement may not last as long the way things are going, but hopefully I'm wrong.

An absolutely crazy group of 25 MWR nickels I bought yesterday. The 12 pre-60s and eight 2024-Ds found only tell a small part of the story. An 1890s-dated V nickel, a dateless Buffalo, the very scarce Jefferson 1990-D missing FS variety, and, most amazingly, my second ever found Jefferson 1975-D with the mintmark next to the date as pictured in the Red Book! The best part of this last coin is, unlike my previous example, it is problem-free, in the XF-45/AU-50 range.

@John77, that High D mintmark is an outstanding coin! You should post full pics on the variety forum. I think it slipped under the radar on this thread.
