While I don't actively collect error notes, this one came up and it looked pretty good to me.

This is an offset printing error.
How the Error Occurs

The Missing Sheet: Banknotes are printed one side at a time, passing between a metal printing plate covered in wet ink and a blank impression cylinder.

Ink Transfer: If a sheet of paper fails to feed into the press, the wet inked plate touches the cylinder directly, transferring the wet design onto the roller.

The Ghost Image: As the next regular sheets of paper feed through, the cylinder stamps that unwanted, secondary layer of ink onto the wrong side of the note.

What are the Key Characteristics:

Mirror Image: The transferred design always appears in reverse (an inverse or mirror image) because it has been flipped from the roller.

Faint Appearance: The mistake often looks like a faint background layer floating over the intended design of the currency.

Face-to-Back or Back-to-Face: Depending on which side of the press lacked paper, you will see a faint backward impression of the front printed onto the back of the bill, or vice versa.
