At the market in Luang Prabang, I found several vendors selling coins and banknotes. All the coins I saw were counterfeit, but the banknotes were genuine. The selection was limited, and some of the banknotes were truly expensive for me. But I couldn't leave without buying something, so I bought two of these banknotes for my collection. 1000 kip 1963 On the front side is depicted: Sisavang Vatthana - was the last king of the Kingdom of Laos; Wat Visounarath is a Buddhist temple in Luang Prabang in Laos dating back to the 16th Century.

Here is another coin. I consider this coin to be more valuable than the others. It was sold together with a presentation card. You are more likely to see such cards with commemorative euro coins. Thailand, 10 Baht, 2011 Centenary of the Fine Arts Department I purchased all three of these coins—the 1, 10, and 20-baht pieces—at the Coin Museum in Bangkok. They mainly sold modern commemorative and bullion coins there.
