This one kinda stuck out and was in pretty good condition. How common are MM's? Do you find 1 a box or are they more or less common than that? Report this Post to the Staff

jdavis18 Pillar of the Community United States 561 Posts	Posted 10/29/2011 6:52 pm I have found several in a box and two of the 1979s in one roll. I am also on the East Coast so a lot of the MM are usually subject to PMD. Can't hurt to look IMO. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/30/2011 2:36 pm The bottom serif of the mint mark area of the 1979-D cents split lower were cause by a damaged punch. A very high number of dies from that year show this. This is common. Report this Post to the Staff

I had the cent I thought was the 1mm-003 in a 2x2...I also had a 1979D on my table I was comparing it to....well...I photographed the WRONG CENT! Anyways...Can anyone Verify these as a MM...
