I just noticed this on ebay and wanted to get thoughts. Says they sent it in to ICG and they wouldn't slab it. I got a chuckle out of the misspelling on the letter....

If it were 3.1 grams of silver wouldn't the coin be larger than a cent?

No it would be smaller. A 90% silver planchet the same size as a cent planchet would weigh 3.53 grams.

Believe it or not, smaller was in my head and it came out wrong. I was thinking that is silver it had to be similar to a dime size but the seller didn't talk about the size so it would turn me away without a comparrison pic next to a cent.

I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. That looks like a thinner planchet, but a dime planchet is smaller than a penny planchet, but this has a full rim...something isn't right. I agree with the ICG, unknown planchet.
