I really like the front of the american, but the reverse leaves a lot to be desired. I do like the look of the reverse of the canadian

Reasons I like the Canadian one more.
1) Like the eye appeal more
2) More gold
3) Higher face value
4) I am Canadian
I wouldn't turn my nose up at either one of them.

The eye appeal of the canadian one is nice!
Were can you find the canadian one and how much does it cost? 400+ or ?

Don't forget the Canadian version shown is in proof, while the American is uncirculated, so that alone can make a difference in eye appeal.
I like the US design much better, especially with the ships on it.

I like them both for different reasons, but if I had to choose, the Canadian reverse says a lot without having to say a lot.
