has any one got any idea on this one looks to be a token from 1845 frank smith in middle and sir joseph banks pavilion on the out side nothing on the back its made of lead and was on the bottom of a tin of coins and has had a bad life weight is 14.3 grams any history buffs have any idea who frank smith was and were is the sir joseph bank pavilion

I did a quick google search. It seems that Frank Smith was an entertainer back then who played at the Joseph Banks Pavilion. I can only assume it was a token of entry to see his show.

spg1 thanks I have been googleing all day found that frank smith built the sir joseph banks pavilion in 1840s he was a promotor and developer he also built the first zoo in the colony at the same site but cant find anything on a token this could have been a token for the zoo I got no idea cant find any thing on the token he was the owner and builder of the hotel then built a amusment park and zoo on the land at the hotel BEING LEAD IT COULD BE RARE I thought I had a lead trial when I picked it up at the markets in a tin didn't look till I got home and found it wasn't a coin trial still mite have some history to it
