Note the scratch; there's something going on with the 'stache too; wear on ribbon and other prominent points and some sort of corrosion (verdigris?) on nose and around the lettering. Yes, there are 2 scratches - 1 connecting to the tache. The ribbon wear was the reason I thought EF at best too. Having just got the coin in hand, it just appears to be grime and dirt around the lettering rather than verdigris. Report this Post to the Staff

I agree that looks like fairly 'loose' dirt around the lettering, if you are careful should be easy to remove.
