eodhybrid New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/16/2014 7:58 pm Hi all I'm new her and I found this coin while walking around my neighborhood I think this is a "T'ung Chih" at least thats what I deducted from my research. It is a machine-struck modern replica of a Tong Zhi (old spelling T'ung Chih) cash. The distinctive feature in this case is the characteristic "down-sloping" script used to write the mintmark. Here's a recent thread with another fake cash coin; a different obverse, but the same downward-sloped script on the reverse.
