Worn, Corroded 1803 Large Cent... Thoughts?

Mister Kairu Pillar of the Community United States 1911 Posts	Posted 09/21/2015 4:52 pm Here is a 1803 large cent I found on Craigslist near me and was wondering if something this corroded looking would be worth considering? Seller asking $30 but could try for lower. Or should I stay away completely? Keep in mind it will most likely be years before saving up the couple hundred bucks for even just a Fine/Ver Fine example. edweather Pillar of the Community United States 7375 Posts	Posted 09/21/2015 5:50 pm There is quite a bit of detail, but it's really corroded. These are commonly available on ebay for less than $20. Thirty bucks for that coin is a bit high imo. $20 would be better. Report this Post to the Staff

And I guess I would want to upgrade it eventually so.. I think I will pass for now.
