twohawks Pillar of the Community United States 1551 Posts	Posted 01/23/2016 10:17 am The finest example of the VAM-3 is a single MS-65 in PCGS plastic with 266 in MS-64. The other O/S Strong VAM-3 is far rarer in grade with only 8 confirmed MS-64 coins in PCGS Plastic. This information comes from listed POP reports and looking at all O/S all the past auctions on both Heritage and Stacks of all O/S Strong's and listed V-3 and V-4's. The VAM-3's die is polished down at the neck and chin of the die so the look of the coin is that of a weak strike. It also has a remarkable die gouge in the hair that can never be confused.
