thingee Pillar of the Community United States 2177 Posts	Posted 02/09/2008 12:01 am Found this cent in a roll. I'm thinking it's a capped die or post mint damage. I don't remember enough about capped dies to figure out which is it. The reverse is a normal image. Help me out. Also could someone explain how a capped bust occurs regardless what this is? I want to be able to identify one if I ever come a cross one. OOPPSS! fORGOT THE PICS. Here it is Wheew! Finally got it third try. May I make a suggestion: how about making the preview bar code RED and the post it now bar GREEN. I've made this same mistake too often. If the reverse is the same as the obverse then I suspect the coin has been tampered with. Report this Post to the Staff
