Need Help, Conder Token - Coin Community Forum

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 12/08/2017 8:39 pm Seen this in an auction. An Angsley Conder token, supposedly used as a Hardtimes cash token in place of early colonial coinage. Anyone have any additional info and a value of this thing? Seems intriguing to me, another bit of early history. Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 12/08/2017 9:27 pm Somewhere between D&H #398-410, depending on obverse detail insufficiently clear and (possibly) the nature of the edge lettering which isn't available. The place towards which the right upright of the M in the script points helps to narrow it down. I'll be moving this to United Kingdom Coins for a better audience. Report this Post to the Staff

It may help narrow down exactly which one it is.
