I am trying everything to get good pics of my cents. I have, what I believe to be a 1916 matte proof. I'd like to get the best pics that I can, So I'm trying with a couple others.

The 1958 is so shiny that the light reflects and it looks too blurry, the 1910 looks okay.

Have a look at the pics, let me know what I can try to get the lighting right please.
Currently I have 2 lights, one on each side of my light box, I tried filtering the light through tracing paper, It didnt help.

Your focus is slightly out and there's too much exposure.

ChrsB,
I find it amazing that you can foucs through the top of a milk jug. I think that I need to get the macro lens for my camera. It's great as it is with silver coins, not quite so much with copper, unless it's a large cent. Your pics are beautiful. Thanks

Mad,

I cut the top off of it so the camera lens can go slightly into the jug, there is not macro lens on my camera, I just set it to macro mode (flower).
