Note how all the affected areas are reduced by the bounce of the die after the strike. Great example, but not a doubled die. It is an altered strike of a normal die.

I would say the doubling on the mintmark and reverse would be MDD (Machine Damage Doubling).

The mint mark is also Machine Doubling. Again note, how the affected area is flat, shelf like, reduced. A RPM would be larger than a normal mint mark.

As I mentioned about enlarging of the devices. Note a big DDR for this year:

Note how much larger the devices are on a doubled die. Machine Doubling reduces the size of normal devices.

Note the centers of the closed devices. ('A & R') That shows you how much the devices are enlarged.
