montypython New Member United States 41 Posts	Posted 11/25/2019 8:45 pm Hi all, I apologize for blowing up the forum with my questions tonight, but I just finished doing a bunch of photography for some error hunting I'd been doing. Does this look like a die chip/break situation, or some type of doubling instead? I included a close-up of a "normal" obverse for the Frank Church quarter. Thank you! Report this Post to the Staff

It looks like moss hanging off the hat, most likely a die chip, but I need to do some research. Interesting find at the very least! I have found one specimen, among a couple of them, that appeared to have some possible doubling or die crack on the tree above (see below). Report this Post to the Staff
