Good morning community. Can anyone help me with this quarter. On obverse side the D is barely visible the date looks boxy and the 2 dont seem right. The word WE in legend seems doubled for sure. Yet is it anything of value. Would it be worth sending this coin to PCGS. Thanks community.

A coin like this I will never send to TPG. In god we trust I see MD, then accentuated mark from rolling machine, and the coin it is in very bad condition. A 550$ certify will not be worth. For me this it is a spender and not more.

I'm seeing a common, well-circulated '72 D quarter. Reverse shows hint of coin wrapping (rolling) machine damage. May need a sharp, closer-in photo of IGWT. For now, I believe we have Machine Doubling present. In my opinion, don't submit the coin to a third party grading service. Value is a solid 25 cents.
