I'm having a tough time spotting doubles but after looking at this one forever it started to emerge. I watch a lot of video's and then hunt for what I see. The example I saw of a double ear had only a tiny dot under the ear, plus the letter doubling. It seems to me this could be the one I saw, but I need help to verify. Again, I could be wrong... but it looks kind of clear. There is also a tail on the 'E' in WE (obverse). I haven't examined the reverse yet because it takes me a long time to study each coin. Thank you all, once more! I can't get all pics to load, missing full obverse and detail. Sorry!

We don't UTube here. The best advise I could give you is to stay away from that misinformation and consecrate on going through rolls and rolls of coins and watch a video on how coins are made. Look through coins for anything unusual rather than try to match up coins to specific errors. All this nexts a lot of time and practice; not all coins are error coins. Bonne chance!

I've noticed that about youtube. I find it fun but I will take your advice. I'm having a lot of fun collecting and looking through coins and I'm super excited about everything little thing I find. I like all the die wear and tear issues I'm finding. I know they're not valuable. Even if this penny was a double ear, it would have only been worth a few bucks. But I am very appreciative of the advice. It's immensely helpful. Thank you!

Thanks :) It's still very hard to discern for me. I thought the letters were really thick. But I want to learn how to spot things because it's super fun. Meanwhile, I am keeping all the coins I collect to slowly learn about them. Pennies are pretty amazing!
