1988 Proof Quarter In Original Set - Coin Community Forum

Wondering exactly what happened below his chin? I am thinking post mint damage, but its uncirculated and has been in there since it was new Report this Post to the Staff

A phone pic of the screen adds two levels of pixelization. One good scope pic of the affected area would be good to have. 95% sure it's struck through lint, regardless. It is odd that the anomaly appears to be cameo, like the devices. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
