Lamination Error Question?

Hi all
I just recently looked these up and not really sure what they are or if they are collectable. It mentioned that the coin is missing a portion of the surface? if I am correct? would this be an example? I'm not exaclty sure what metal is used on the surface. this looks like normal copper corrosion to me, but thought I would ask to better understand this term. Or should I not worry about lamination errors while trying to build a collection. Die varieties are what interests me, but if it something someone collects and I run across one, then thats money in my paypal account for what I want, lol.

First, you need CSI to lift that print, then slap the perp that left it. Last week I was expierimenting with vinegar and tossed in some 2000's. They came out similar. If that is some sort of lamination, its a nice one.

I believe that is just some post mint damage.
Paint etc. on the coin. You can see some of it(spots)in the copper
area also.
