Tam Valued Member United States 200 Posts	Posted 04/28/2011 3:49 pm All I know is that Krause labels this coin as a restrike issue. However, the picture in Krause shows an open top on the 4. I zoomed the coin, and there is something odd about the 4, extra metal or some possible damage. I can't define the image enough to really see what it is, but there is something out of the usual based on Krause. Report this Post to the Staff

In my opinion the $800 is too high since these are not likely to gain a significant collectible premium any time soon. Even if you believe gold is going to go higher and want to buy it purely as gold investment, you may want to consider other opportunities that are much closer to bullion price.
