Haven't seen a brass one for a long time. Is it dated? How do you know it's brass besides the color? Where did you dig it up from? Assuming you found it in the ground somewhere.

This coin was found from a detached storage shed of the house we moved in 1.5 years ago. Previous owner is 93 years old and left some of their stuff in the storage shed. I found this coin while cleaning up the storage. I try researching on the internet, but only found something coated w/brass inlay. This coin felt a little bit heavy and there are some scratches from the other side which shows more brass color....

Ever since you posted it I've searched all over the net. I would get hold of Harrah's and ask them about the find. It may have be the core of an antique chip or token that had a paper or cellulose outer ring.
