Looks like you might have overdone the contrast in your photo editor though, but, just looking at the detail and forgiving the luster for now it would be at least that. Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 11/05/2006 1:33 pm I see a few things to cause concern - what may be cleaning lines around the mintmark, differing luster amidst the reverse lettering than on the fields, and luster breaks especially on the right field of the obverse. If we discount all that, I'd call this one an easy MS63 and maybe better. Of course, this is hardly my area of expertise.... Report this Post to the Staff

I am pretty much convinced that the reverse, at least, has had the fields Photoshopped to hide scratches. Given this, and the 1-feedback seller's claim that his account was hijacked and he's starting a new one (more than a year later), I'd say that you dodged a bullet by not winning this one.
