I happen to acquire a 1934 C $50 bill at my job the other day and was just wondering if it was worth anything? It seems to be in pretty good shape no stains everything is readable maybe a little faded but that's it! Any info would be greatly appreciated! I also was wondering about $2 bills are they in general worth more than the face value?

As far as the $50 note goes, in VF it's worth $85-90. In UNC it's worth $250. These values are out of the 2005 Blackbook. You may want to check completed ebay auctions to see the prices realized for actual value.

The value of $2 bills seems to depend on the year, condition, and Federal Reserve Bank. I would advise checking ebay on these also.

I have to agree with Susan. Check out ebay regarding the $2.00 values. As a point of information if your $2.00 bill has a red seal it's not a Federal Reserve note but a United States note.
