1957 Franklin NGC Proof 69 Star - Coin Community Forum

junior e Pillar of the Community United States 931 Posts	Posted 07/07/2011 10:01 pm I have located a 57 Franklin Proof 69 Star for $500. I have been looking for a birth year Franklin and this seems like it would certainly fit the bill. It also has quite an impressive cameo on the obverse. I don't know a lot about Franklins but this seems like a pretty good deal to me. I'll have to check the NGC population but I doubt if there are any 70's. NGC has graded 27 57's at pr 69 star. What do you Franklin experts think about this deal. There is a strike through on the obverse but it must not have bothered NGC a whole lot. Opinions?
