They are both 1/2 pennys from Great Britian.

The British half-penny,(ha'penny),from 1937 to 1967 featured Sir Francis Drakes' three masted sailing ship "The Golden Hind" on the reverse.

The British coins are hard to identify for novices because starting many centuries ago they got into a habit of having (obverse) legends in Latin.

Not to mention the habit of not having a country name on them.
At least they have a denomination on them though.
