(and gives the ole' "tony the tiger pointing of the index finger") I like the 1859 penny myself there's so many varieties of this coin it just blows my mind! cdcoinman Valued Member Canada 372 Posts	Posted 05/01/2014 07:27 am Since you also are a collector,you know that grades dictate value in general.If your coins are in a range of VG to F and are not classified as Varieties,your large cents have a BV of about $50CAD. As far as the nickels go,you would have to sort them by dates and see if you have some varieties that command a premium.Pre 1982 are 100% nickel at about $8.25 per pound.Hope this help a bit Report this Post to the Staff
