(Possible 1986 Penny Error) Any Help

As you can see that the date 1986 with only the numbers 9 8 6 looking double. Don Smith New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 01/24/2008 7:45 pm I recently found a 1986 D Memorial cent just as you described. I sent it to Littleton Coin Co and they called it a "shadowed" coin not a true dd. They could not put a value on it because they had no knowledge of any and therefore nothing to compare it to for placing a value. Please respond. Don Report this Post to the Staff
