cwb Pillar of the Community United States 3463 Posts	Posted 07/28/2015 12:45 am It is a nice example of MD ( Machine Doubling). I is worth one cent as face value, a little more for Copper content. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/28/2015 11:48 am When a MAD (Mis-Aligned-Die) setup happens, the coin wills will show an offset on just one side. The hammer die is adjustable to be centered over the anvil die (stationary) to make a normal coin if done correctly. A lot are just partly off a bit. But when the devices fall over the edge they are more interesting to error collectors. (yours is just a little bit off) An off center coin is struck out of the collar and thus shows both sides of the coin off center: Report this Post to the Staff
