This is one of the different styles of mint marks that was used on 1974 S mint cents. It is known as MMS-008.
From what I have learned, it is the only known RPMP (Re-punched Mintmark Punch). It was used from 1970 until the early part of 1974.

I'm not sure I understand what the extra bump is on the top right. I'm pretty sure this cannot be a RPM.

Coop understands the mintmarks better than me. I would like to understand this one better, maybe he can give us some more information on it.

The upper mark looks like a die gouge. The lower area is from a damaged punch.
