Opinion On 1927 5 Cent Obverse Cud ?

aswag Valued Member United States 214 Posts	Posted 08/31/2015 12:05 pm Just a follow-up. I finally received this coin that I bought on ebay and it is clearly PMD and not a Cud. The coin was struck very hard on the edge but the point of impact isn't seen in the pictures the seller posted. The point of impact looks like a small screwdriver was hammered into the edge of the coin. The force sent metal bulging out filling the space between the letters. Then with time the coin was worn down and the result looks like a Cud. Report this Post to the Staff
