The cross on the back makes me think maybe it's a crusader coin? That last part is just a guess, but this definitely looks medieval to me. Report this Post to the Staff

That it's definitely medieval and probably Italian, but I'm sure that somebody with more knowledge than I have will come along soon and settle this question for both of us!
